How ItReserve Analytics Board connects to Reservit

A module-specific breakdown of the API connection process, data flow and write-back behaviour.

Analytics Board establishes a live data connection to your Reservit account using the Reservit reporting API, which exposes reservation and revenue data in structured JSON. On activation, you select which Reservit data sets to pull — reservations, rate plans, channels, market segments — and Analytics Board ingests a historical data set covering up to 24 months of past reservation data as a baseline.

After the initial historical import, Analytics Board polls the Reservit API every 30 minutes to capture new reservations, rate changes and availability updates. This rolling data feed powers the live dashboard widgets — channel contribution charts, pickup analysis, RevPAR trend lines and year-on-year comparisons — which refresh automatically without any action required from your team.

All data displayed in Analytics Board is sourced directly from your Reservit account and is never combined with data from other ItReserve customer accounts. Dashboard configurations — the widgets you choose, the date ranges you set, the custom segments you define — are stored within ItReserve and do not affect your Reservit account in any way. Analytics Board is a read-only integration that observes and visualises; it writes nothing back to Reservit.

On initial activation, Analytics Board ingests up to 24 months of historical reservation data from your Reservit account. This provides a two-year baseline for year-on-year comparisons from day one. The historical import typically completes within 2–4 hours for properties with up to 5,000 reservations in the two-year window.

Yes. Analytics Board's scheduled report feature emails a PDF snapshot of any dashboard to any email address on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. Recipients receive the report without requiring ItReserve dashboard access.

Currently, Analytics Board connects to a single Reservit property per ItReserve account. If your account covers multiple properties, a separate Analytics Board subscription is required per property. Contact support@itreserve.org to discuss multi-property pricing if you manage more than three properties.
