How ItReserve Housekeeping Pro connects to Reservit

A module-specific breakdown of the API connection process, data flow and write-back behaviour.

Housekeeping Pro connects to your Reservit account and reads the daily arrival, departure and stay-over schedule using the Reservit reservations API with a date filter. Each morning at 06:00 local time, the module queries Reservit for all departures, arrivals and stay-overs for the current day. This data populates the daily room task board in the Housekeeping Pro mobile app and supervisor dashboard.

Room assignments are generated automatically from the Reservit room-type and room-list data. Housekeeping Pro reads the physical room list from Reservit and distributes tasks across the configured housekeeper count according to your priority rules — prioritising arrivals, then departures, then stay-overs. Supervisors can reassign tasks within the app; any manual reassignment overrides the automatic distribution for that day only.

When a housekeeper marks a room as clean and inspected in the mobile app, Housekeeping Pro writes the room status update back to Reservit using the room status endpoint. This means the Reservit front desk screen shows the accurate, real-time room status without any manual intervention — front desk staff do not need to call housekeeping to confirm room readiness for early check-in guests.
